Here’s an exercise-recovery shake recipe from Nancy E. Cook that can be found on her blog, Mountain of Dreams.  Nancy is a competitive marathon runner and says that this drink gives her a BIG energy boost.  Thanks, Nancy!

1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1 frozen banana
1 scoop (2 oz.) vanilla-flavored protein powder
1 scoop electrolyte powder (optional)

Place all ingredients in blender and run on High speed for 30 to 40 seconds (“Whole Juice” cycle with a Blendtec).
