Another great smoothie recipe by nutritionist Gena Hamshaw from her Choosing Raw blog.  Pumpkin seeds are great sources of essential fatty acids as well as iron.  Any greens will work in this one.  An easy almond milk recipe can be found here.

3/4 cup almond milk
1 handful baby spinach
2 tbsp. pumpkin seeds
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 scoop (2 oz.) vanilla-flavored protein powder

Place all ingredients in blender and run on High speed for 40 to 50 seconds (“Whole Juice” cycle with a Blendtec).
