This is one of Blendtec’s “Recipe of the Week” offerings.  Perfect for summer!

2 navel oranges, peeled and quartered
2 cups mango chunks, fresh or thawed
2 tbsp. agave nectar or honey
1/2″ piece of ginger, peeled (optional)

Place all ingredients in blender and run on high speed for 40 – 50 seconds (“Whole Juice” cycle with a Blendtec).  Pour into popsicle molds and freeze for 4 to 6 hours.
  1. Can this recipe be frozen and used like a sorbet? Do you have sny veg soups without tomatoes or creamy ingredients?

      Luna, based on the ingredients, if you freeze it, it will come out harder like frozen fruit (which it is). I would first try frozen mango chunks instead of fresh or thawed and see if that gives you the consistency you’re after. You may or may not need to add more fresh orange or orange juice. Another alternative is to put it in freezer but not let it harden all the way.
