It’s official:  mangoes are now my favorite fruit.  Nothing tastes better than a ripe one, and nothing makes a better smoothie than a ripe one that’s been frozen.  In my ongoing hunt for mango blender recipes I came across this one, just posted by Amy Tuggle, the Detox Darling.  Thanks, Amy!

2 mangoes, frozen and cut into slices or chunks
1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1 tbsp. almond butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 to 1 cup cold water

Place all ingredients in blender and run on high speed for 40 – 50 seconds (“Whole Juice” cycle with a Blendtec).
