This recipe, which I modified only slightly, comes courtesy of the Green Smoothie Queen and her 2011 St. Partrick’s Day Green Smoothie Challenge.  If you want to make this one with almond milk, you’ll find my recipe for it right here.

1/2 cup water or any nut milk of your choice
1 ripe cantaloupe, peeled
1 head parsley
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. pure vanilla
1 – 2 Medjool dates, pitted and soaked for 2 hours (optional)
6 – 7 ice cubes

Place all ingredients in blender and run on high speed for 35 to 40 seconds.
