This recipe is courtesy of the Vegan Yack Attack blog which offers great vegan and raw food recipes as well as restaurant reviews.  This is a neat way to incorporate sprouts into your diet even if you’re not a big fan of them!.  

1 medium-sized banana
1 orange, peeled
1 c. fresh or strawberries
1 c. sprouts
1/3 c. avacado
1/2 c. water
4-5 ice cubes
1 scoop (2 oz.) vanilla or plain-flavored protein powder (optional)

Place all ingredients in blender in order listed and run on High speed for 40 to 50 seconds (“Whole Juice” cycle with a Blendtec).  Frozen strawberries and/or banana may be used as well – lessen the amount of ice cubes used, if so.  May require additional blending time.
