This is a BD-modified smoothie based on Gena Hamshaw’s original version on choosingraw.com.  A recipe for almond milk is right here.

1 1/2 cups almond milk
2 large, frozen bananas
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 – 3 tbsp. almond butter (peanut butter will work, too)
1 cup ice

Place all ingredients in blender and run on high speed (“Whole Juice” button on a Blendtec) until desired consistency.

  1. I tried your recipe for Almond Milk today in my Vitamix and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Easy, too. Then I decided to make the Blue/Banana Smoothie using my newly made Almond Milk. It was delicious!
